Life as we know it

Sooo my house is currently quite the chaotic mess atm as I'm moving house on Tuesday, gahh so soon yet still so much to pack! I still haven't touched the study room yet and that's where most packing is needed as it's just filled with document, papers; a lot of them, books and all that shtuff :O
Anyways I think I can claim to be a house moving pro? this will be my 5th move in 4 years, yeaaaa I know, crazy. But its not the most enjoyable of processes as its just sooo hectic. But its also interesting as you rediscover so many things, like clothes you didn't know you own or were from the ancient timez. Old toys and junk and notes friends wrote to you. That's why it takes me ages to pack, I just get so distracted by the things I find :L

One of the things I found were these glasses, still had the tag on and everything :L oh and I do luuurve my socks :L

Aha another 'treasure' that I found, my co-workers gave it to me when I had my internship in ShangHai :)

One of the many boxes of well random shtuff

Aaaand I had a hair cut today, i really don't like going to hair dresser, I always want a change or have a hair cut in mind, I tell them what I want and it NEVER turns out they way I want it to. I think especially at more pricier hair dressers they lit just do what they want or what they think looks good.
So I asked for layers, and for the longest layer to be the length of my hair atm that took me 6 months of grow out. Yeaaa no that didn't happen :/ it is now shorter than what I had 6 months ago :| dayumm the long and slow process of hair growth starts again :L

This is my old hair, yes i look ghostly but yea you can't see well but it was quite long and wavy. Sorry for the quality, it was take with photobooth at night

And this is my new hair, its not thaaat bad, just not what I wanted. I think I look like a child...
What do you guys think?

Aaand my summer has been sooo unproductive so far, it literally just consists of packing, meeting friends and nights out. I mean its not bad or boring by any means, but I wanted to do something more productive like learn something or find a job, just use my time wisely and not just faf and have fun all summer :)

Topshop blushes review~

Before the review I'll just put it out there that I luuuurve these blushes, literally one of my holy grail blushes, I use these on a daily basis and to me they are must haves!
GO BUY THEM, YOU'LL NEVER REGRET! ok end of review ;)

From L-R: Nutmeg, Flush, Neon rose, butterscotch, head over heels

Packaging: I like the packaging, it is very cute and very compact, also comes with a mirror which is handy. But it does get gruby quite easily. Although it feels rather light and plasticy, but overall I like the packaging. I can easily just pop it in the bag.

Out of the 7 colours topshop came out with, I have 5 of the colours. The ones I'm missing is pinch and berry crush, I'm thinking of getting pinch which is a very bright redish/pink colour, but blends to a very nice 'pinched' cheek colour as the name suggests.

Anyways to the colours I have:
Nutmeg, a nice nudish browny pink

Flush, a very pretty pink colour

Neon rose, very similar to flush, but has a more reddish tone to it, its brighter colour than flush

Head over heels, my newest addition, pinkish/coralish colour. It is also similar to flush.

Butterscotch, more like a highlighter with very pretty gold flecks, the colour doesn't really show up on my skin tone that obviously

These blushes are a cream to powder formula, I love the creamy texture and then it blends so easily. It also lasts quite well, around 3 hours, which is very good for me as blushes never really last more than 2 hours on me.
These blushes are £6 each, which is a very reasonable price, considering that some topshop clothing are over priced. As much as I love topshop clothing, some of the things are really over priced. And as I have NUS student card I get 10% off so I get them for £5.40 each, basically bargain!
From L-R: Head over heels, butterscotch, neon rose, flush, nutmeg

The blushes blended out

So yea like I said from the very beginning of the post, I LOVE these! cute packaging, reasonable price, lovely colours, great texture, easily blendable and easily buildable.

Topshop come out with more colours!! would love a bright coral/orangy colour

Rating: 5/5 :)

I was kidnapped...

No not really, just really busy. So yea have disappeared from blogging world for over 2 months, but now im back :)
So just a catch up of these 2 months:

  • Just finished my exams, had 9 of them so it was rather hardcore
  • During my exam period I was literally addicted to online shopping, espesh topshop and asos, just shopped all my monay away :\ so I have started a bet with a friend that started from yesterday to see who can last longest without buying anything. Whoever loses has to pay from cinema, meal and drinks, and Im not gonna pay for that :L
  • Had my birthday on the 17th of June, and dayumm am I old, 19 last teenage year :O Nothing spesh happened as I had an exam the day before and 2 days after, just chillin with fam and friends
  • I bought a bestival ticket :D for those who don't know its a music fest on the isle of wight, rather indie music. sooo excited :)) Anyone else going?
  • oh my last post 2 months ago I said I was going to London for few days, it was wickeddd :L clubbing everynight till 6am don't know how my liver handled :L
  • I'm doing a third year in college...yea I know... but I needed more time to decided what I wanted to do in uni and build a design portfolio before I go to uni
  • On to the weather, british weather has been awful, it like our summer was in April and lasted for few weeks. It has improved these few days but still massively disappointed. I bought so many pairs of shorts yet haven't had a chance to whack them on. Maate gimme my summer!
  • I got a macbook pro :)) my macbook just decided to die and stop working, so I had to get a new lappie. Have been wanting a new one for a while so perfect timing for my old one to break down :L
  • For those that remembered I had a post on dieting, yea that was a fail during exams, i was so stressed that I just binged. But yea Im starting again :) let's do it togez for those on dieting path.
  • On to a rather big news well big to me anyways. My parents are moving back to Macau due to work sooo I'll be living on my own :O Its both very exciting yet intimidating at the same time. on the 21st I'll be moving into my apartment, gahh so exciting :D but sadly I'll have to give my dog away :'( as its not fair on the dog to live in an apartment and I will be in college daily till 4ish, so its not fair for the dog to be locked in all day. So yeaa we are hoping to find him a good owner, but I'm gonna miss him so much :((

So yeaa thats pretty much a condensed summary of my past 2 months, how has everyone else been?
BRING ON SUMMER BABY :D

Im gonna miss you :'(

OOTD, nice breezy weather today :)

Portugal baby yeahhh

So yea I'm back, have been back for 2 days already but been rather busy. So from my last post you guys know I went to portugal for holiday and it was awesomeeee!! :D I have been to Portugal many many times, perhaps 20 times? as all my dad's family live there, and ever time I go I still find portugal beautiful :) The weather was pretty much summer weather, 30 something degrees with beautiful sun :)
So I'll let the pictures do the talking, although I barely took any pictures, and I only took pictures on 2 days really :L have been so packed with schedules meeting and staying with friends and cousins that I forgot to take pictures :L And most of the pictures are food and beautiful scenery
These are just pictures of the seaside of Lisbon

The scenery from Marginal (the road we drive on nearly everyday, it was once the most dangerous road in Europe)

Me on the gran's balcony and the view from the balcony

Then me and my dad had a bit of a bonding day, just the 2 of us the whole day (excluding dinner) and it was actually very nice. First he bought me to a veryyy posh restaurant, probs one of the poshest I have ever been to. The lunch for the 2 of us costed €130
This is the view from the window of the restaurant, beautifullll :D

Was a loverlyyyy meal and everything was put so delicately :)

Then we went to a very very famous ice cream shop called Santini, I queued 15 minutes for this ice cream, i'd say was worth it :L

Strawberry selling on the streets, the strawberries were actually MASSIVE, a quarter of my face! and they taste lovely as well.

I went for dinner with some friends, and my friend bought a rose from the man selling roses in the restaurant, so i thought i'd do some cam whoring ;L

Also went to the beach, and this one was a popular surf beach so I pretty spent the whole day taking pictures of the surfers. And not gonna lie I felt like I was in the Portuguese version of 90210, the surfers were sooo attractive, and I swear all of them had 6 packs, i drooled ;L lol

Just a picture of me, nan and dad when I was 7 or 8? and you can see me in the reflection ;)

Lastly this is what I bought on holiday, had only one day for shopping so didn't get as much as I would liked.

This is the package from River Island that arrived when was on holiday

Ahh i missed him <3

So yeaaa hardly took any pictures but I had a lovely holiday and can't wait to go back on September for my aunt's wedding :D I'm currently on Easter holiday, have a lot of work and studies to do. But will be going to London on friday till monday to visit my best friend :)
How have you guys been? :)

If the sun doesn't come to me, I'll go to the sun...

I'M GOING ON HOLIDAY TOMORROW :D
Ahahaa think you guys can tell my excitement there :L I'll be missing one week of college (which is reaaally not ideal, since I'm rather behind in pretty much everything atm :/ ) But yea going to PORTUGAL babyyy :)) I'll be visiting the fam, and going for my nan's 80th birthday (which means mother will be spending her birthday on her own in macau, blesss) plus passport needs renewing.
Anyways last time I been to Portugal was christmas of 2009 so I'm rather excited to see all my cous and friends :)  According to the weather man it was 26 degrees in portugal today so hopefully the sun will keep shining when I get there :) I'm going with my dad and we're staying at my nan's, which means no internet, I'll try to post new posts, but don't count my words on that :L
Today it was raining and gloomy, and I thought what better thing to do than hit town and do some shopping. As much as I love shopping with my friends, I enjoy shopping on my own more, especially on a rainy day (yes I'm a loner ;L ) Its just that you can look at things at your own pace and spend as much (or as little) time you want at a shop.
I didn't buy much at all, and nothing especially either as I'm savin the haulin for the holidays :)
Just the necessities; legging, tank, a pink crop top and chiffon blouse.
Scrabble necklace from ebay, to accompany my 'C' scrabble ring :P
Ring from topshop, I bought this for a friend in christmas for £7.75 in christmas with student discount, got it for £3.82, scoooore :)
And yes I wrote 3 different train times on my hand and STILL managed to miss the train, had to wait in the station for half an hour aswell, wasn't happy

Have been really into rings lately, don't you guys keep finding yourselves go in and out something constantly? Currently I'm really into rings and bags. My last phase was boots and perfume. Whatever phase I go through, it does no good to da bank.

Also got this in the post yesterday, a pink satchel from ebay. Reminds me a bit of the Mulberry Alexa bag, I love the Alexa bag, but the price tag I cannot afford. So I went with this instead. It was £13 including shipping which I thought was really good. It was also very well wrapped and came with a 'dust bag'. I really like it as it is really soft as well. Think I might go buy another but in tan colour as pink can be hard to match the majority of my closet :)

Aaaand thats it for now :) Love + peace + lots of sun for you guys

Ok, I'm actually going to stick to it this time

I have been 'going on a diet' for like forever, but it never works, like ever. I just go oooo some ice cream and chocolate won't hurt, I'll just start tomorrow. I think i have been saying "ok I'll officially start my diet tomorrow' for the past 2 years now. This time, I actually want to do it and stick to it till I reach my ideal weight and figure, I'm sick of procrastinating and then hating on my figure and just be angry at why I allowed myself to become like this. I thought if I blogged about it, I will stay motivated as I'll be  monitoring my change, as well as sharing the results with all you guys.
Some background story, so I came to UK 3 and a half years. Back then I had such fast metabolism, ate all the crap I want and never gained any weight. Well then again I was also  a very active being back then. But ever since I came to the UK i put on 10kg, and I just see myself enlarging gradually, and my clothes not fitting me anymore. In my closet my jeans range from 3 different dress sizes, and I don't wear jeans anymore as it sucks to know you have once again outgrown those pairs as well. That really beats you down and is so disheartening. So yea summer is coming along, and I'm going back to Macau, when I went back during Christmas all my friends were like :O you are so fat. And yes it hurts, but then again I'll use it as a motivator. So when I go back to to Macau in summer I wanna be like boo yeaaaaaa suckas :L
So from today I'll start healthy eating as well as actually doing some proper exercise. I have already bought a workout DVD off the internet and am planning to go swimming weekly.

Things I'm sticking to:

  • Daily exercise
  • No junk ie. chocolate, ice creams... (that's gonna be hard)
  • Eat less white bread and rice
  • Drink lots of water
  • Try to restrain to 1500 calories a day
My goal? To lose 8 kg in 3 months

So let's get ready for da bikini season :D And good luck to those that are on weight lost journey as well, lets do this together :)
You guys have any suggestions and advice? :))

(sorry for the very very wordy post)

Sun is shining, the weather is sweet...

...Make you wanna move your dancing feet. Gotta love some Bob Marley :)
Today I was walking around sleeveless, outdoors, sleeveless, in UK, in March, i know OMG :D Everyone in college was in shorts and t-shirts, soakin up the sun outdoor, just chillin :)

OOTD
Playsuit from Hollister, boots are unbranded bought on holiday, sunnies from asos

A little itch ;)

Yesterday my package from ELF arrived, I ordered my things on Saturday night and got here on a Tuesday, I was impressed. It is the first time I've ever ordered from ELF, I've heard so many good things bout them in the beauty community I had to try it out, plus the products are only £1.50 to £3.50, will never break the bank too much. I ordered 14 products and was £30.50 which is awesome, and was qualified for free shipping.
What do I think bout ELF? Its wither hit or misses, I did not like the luscious lipsticks and hypershine lipgloss as they were all sheer and sticky and all 3 of them look the same on my lips. Not too big a fan of the liquid liner and all over color sticks either. The all over cover stick was so sticky and hard to blend out and was not a fan of the smell. But I adore the flat top brush and the lipstick in classy. I will probably place another order soon to try out their other brushes, get some studio blushes as well as more shimmer facial whips.

What do you guys think of ELF? Any products I should try and what to stay away from?

Beautiful sunset
Bye bye sun, see you again tomorrow yes?
